Our Mission

The mission of the organisation is ensuring health, quality education and skill development and empowerment of youth and women and it has the vision of making Nepal a habitable country. To achieve the vision and mission, ISD Foundation has the goals as follows:

• Establishing and conducting mobile health clinics with necessary approval from health service providers for community health services like safe motherhood and women health and nutrition campaign as well as family and personal health services.
• Conducting various kinds of free education and skill-oriented programmes as part of community development campaign for change in quality of life and community development and economic uplift for socially and financially backward families and conflict victims.
• Conducting campaigns against gender-based violence and programmes on women and child education and women empowerment.
• Conducting different programmes for environment protection and development of safe residence and social structural development.
• Conducting campaigns for modernisation of agriculture and carrying out awareness programmes for professional development of agriculture and animal husbandry.
• Conducting different programmes on youth self-employment in the form of free skill-oriented training and capability-enhancing programmes.
• Coordinating and cooperating with organisations and government bodies with goals similar with this organisation and taking part in different programmes including community uplift.
• Conducting programmes on community development and employment with cooperation and coordination with government and non-government organisations.
• Conducting community health awareness programmes with approval from authorities concerned and providing services including blood donation, ambulance service and health camps.
